For a NORMAL job... giving two weeks notice is not a big deal... especially when the reason for leaving is because your graduating and moving on with your life... but my job? Not so easy. Not only do I love the kids after working for them for 2 years.. but in all honesty... I am scared that my boss is going to become upset with the fact I'm leaving, spread false reasons to her kids and friends about the reason I'm leaving... and basically not realize that I am the only Nanny that has been with her family consistently for the past 2 years... through every Spring Break, Summer && Winter break and through all the many emergency situations from broken arms, to the parents just needing a break from the chaos of 9 kids... I've been the one there. It just sucks to feel that after 2 years that when you leave all that you have done will not be appreciated...
But I'm going into tonight expecting this so hopefully she surprises me and this situation turns out better than what I'm expecting :/
